Minecraft Xbox 360 Update Original Version

Today, we take a look at what 4J Studios has to offer after the TU12 update release.

Minecraft Xbox 360 TU12 Update Texture Packs and Mash-up Packs

Have you been living under a rock?

Here’s some very interesting Minecraft Xbox 360 news about the update and something called mash-up packs.

Has a lot of exciting potential if you ask me. Looking forward to Minecraft Xbox 360 Update TU12 release!

Minecraft Xbox 360 Go On Its Own Path?

First, 4J has said, and it has been widely discussed, that the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft is extremely unlikely to ever get worlds any bigger than they are now, let alone the size of PC.

Minecraft Xbox 360 is coded significantly differently with regard to how it loads, unloads, and stores chunks and many other aspects of world data. It was designed from the beginning to have limited finite worlds. Many features of the 360 edition of minecraft such as split screen, low latency, simplified multiplayer, and the limitations for file size imposed by microsoft are inherently tied to the compromises they made at the beginning with regard to world size. To change the size of a Minecraft Xbox 360 world at this point would be a massive undertaking requiring an almost complete reworking of the code and as such is not reasonable to expect that they will do so. The only sensible (however unlikely) ways that they could potentially increase the size of worlds would be through a server system where persistent worlds are stored on external servers (which would require special permissions and deals on the part of Microsoft) or releasing an Xbox One edition of minecraft (which would require essentially re-developing the entire game for a totally different architecture).

The other point I want to make is that the PC version is a moving target. For every update that 4J studios completes to move closer to the PC edition, Mojang releases another update for PC minecraft. Seeing as porting the PC edition updates to 360 requires significant time and resources (more than most people realize), it is very unlikely that the 360 version will ever have all of the features that PC has. The original deal that 4J studios, Mojang, and Microsoft had was that 4J would bring the game up to speed minimally with the 1.2.3 PC version and decide how they wanted to proceed from there. 4J has stated that they want to bring Minecraft Xbox 360 in its own direction, but they have also demonstrated that they are willing to bring forward features from post 1.2.3 versions of Minecraft PC depending on community demand. One such feature they have said they will eventually bring to 360 is horses, which are still in beta testing on PC. Even if 4J does decide to start focusing on exclusive features after the next update, it is still likely that they will continue to include popular PC content.

Why do people put lying titles? This is the only site that does it. As you can see, people are wound up by them. I think it’s to get loads of people reading the articles as if it was life or death…

I agree, but the person who wrote this will tell people to look more closely at there title because its one of those titles that can say something but mean something entirely. In this article they’re trying to say that there releaseing a new article today about tu12 but they worded it to were people thought that tu12 was released today to attract more viewers because they are desperate like S&R. A good place to get real information is exaniner.com
