I just wish it would come out so I have a reason to play again. I know it takes time to code, but its been quite a while since our last Minecraft Xbox 360 update.

Yes, it has been awhile, but let’s consider these Minecraft updates over the same months exactly a year apart for the PC and the Xbox 360:
PC Minecraft Update 1.2.5 was released on April, 4, 2012. It added really very few features (not enough to warrant it being assigned a new version #, so… it was essentially a bug fix). The initial feature update (i.e. 1.2.1) was released on March 1, 2012. PC Minecraft Update 1.3.1 was not released until August 1, 2012.
Minecraft Xbox 360 Update TU9 was released on April 4, 2013. It was a major feature adding update. On April 16, 2013 a bug fix (TU10) was released and a second bug fix was released on May 10, 2013 (TU11). It’s now July 2, 2013, so we’ve gone almost 2 months without an update and almost 3 months without a major feature-adding update. The PC, on July 2, 2012 had gone for 3 months without an update and 4 months without a major feature-adding update; and by the time 1.3.1 was released, they had gone 4 months without an update and 5 months without a major feature-adding update. So, even if it takes until August for 4J Studios to release TU12 update, our “dry spell” will still be 1 month less than what the PC was experiencing during these same months last year.
In addition, Minecraft Xbox 360 already have several features that have been brought forward from PC version 1.2.3, 1.3.1 and even PC 1.4.2 (which was released on October 12, 2012). So, theoretically, if 4J Studios were as far behind as people like to complain they are, we really shouldn’t have see some of the features we already have until until October 2013.
